Braid Me Pretty- The Basic 3 Strand Braid

It's beginning to get hot and who wants their hair down on their neck? Not me. Down below is a basic braid that is a must-learn for any braided hairstyle. Many people may know how to do a regular braid, but this tutorial is a step-by-step tutorial with pictures to learn how to braid. Here it goes!

The Classic Three Strand Braid

Start by dividing the hair into 3 equal sections. (sorry it looks weird because I was braiding and taking pictures by myself.)

Next take the section on the RIGHT and cross it over the MIDDLE section. Now take the section on the LEFT and cross it over the MIDDLE section. 

Keep braiding right section over middle, then the left section over middle,

until you get to the end of the hair. Secure with a clear elastic. I recommend clear elastics because they are small and easy for braids and they aren't seen as easily as colored ponytails. 

Congrats! You just did the 3 strand braid!
