The Easy Dutch Braid Bun

Today's tutorial is a Dutch Braid Bun. This is a super easy and cute hairstyle.

First, start with the hair down. Separate into 3 equal sections. Take the MIDDLE section and braid it over the RIGHT strand, then over the LEFT, and continue until you get to the end. A helpful tip to remember the pattern for this braid is the MIDDLE strand ALWAYS goes out. That's why it's called an "Inverse Braid" because it is inverse of a regular braid.
When you get to the end of the Dutch or Inverse Braid, secure with a clear elastic. For this bun, I suggest using a clear elastic instead of a colored one so it blends in. To make the braid thicker looking, gently pull out each section of the braid to make it a flat-looking braid.
Next twist the braid into a flat bun shape and pin......

Finish by tucking the end of the braid under the bun and secure with a bobby bin. For a personal touch you can add a cute bow directly above the bun, or a hair flower.
Congrats! You did the Dutch braid bun!
